Pre-Wedding Tour


Day 01: Upon arrival at Colombo airport you will be met by your personal chauffeur guide and taken to Jetwing Blue (transfer time: approx. 20mins), staying in a deluxe room on half board basis. Rest of the day at leisure relaxing by the pool or walking on the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at Jetwing Blue.


Day 02: After breakfast, leave for Kandalama (transfer time: approx. 4hr). En-route enjoy lunch at Pinnawala elephant orphanage where you will have the opportunity to visit the elephants or browse the market. Staying at the luxury Heritance Kandalama, you will stay in a superior room on half board basis. That afternoon take an exciting 4×4 safari at Minneriya National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama (5*)


Day 03: In the morning, head off to explore the stunning rock fortress at Sigiriya, a UNESCO world heritage site dating back to the 5th century. Visit the sacred and ancient capital of Polonnaruwa on foot or by bike. Relax back at your luxury hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama (5*)


Day 04: Today you head to Kandy (transfer time: approx. 4hr), visiting the amazing Dambulla caves (1st Century B.C.) en route. At Kandy, check in to the Cinnamon Citadel in a superior room on half board basis. Late afternoon, take a city tour of Kandy including visits to the local market, batik workshop, gem workshop and a cultural show. Visit one of the most sacred Buddhist shrines in the world – the temple which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. Dinner and overnight stay at Cinnamon Citadel (5*)


Day 05: After breakfast head to the lush tea plantations of Nuwara Eliya via a scenic train and car journey (transfer time: approx. 3hr) and on route visit a tea plantation and factory. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and check into Heritance Tea Factory in a superior room on half board basis. Spend the rest of the day at leisure amidst the stunning scenery. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritance Tea Factory (5*)


Day 06: Spend the day at leisure relaxing and enjoying the scenery. In the afternoon take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya. Dinner and overnight stay at Heritance Tea Factory (5*)


Day 07: After an early breakfast, depart for Galle (transfer time: approx. 6hr) Arrive at Jetwing Lighthouse, the beautiful oceanside hotel for your beach wedding. Settle in and in the afternoon meet the wedding registrar in order to sign and go through all the required paper work prior to your wedding. Afterwards spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the pool before dinner. Dinner and overnight stay at Jetwing Lighthouse.


Day 08: After a delicious, leisurely breakfast, enjoy a full day relaxing at the hotel. Whether you prefer to swim or sunbathe, the beach-side pool is stunning as is the beach itself with its row of beautiful palm trees proving much welcomed shade. Why not treat yourself to a luxury beauty or spa treatment before experiencing a sunset dinner in the evening. Spend the day relaxing. Overnight stay at Jetwing Lighthouse.


Day 09: – WEDDING DAY: Today’s your big day! After breakfast, head to the hotel spa for a pre wedding pampering session plus cocktails and spend the rest of your day at leisure whilst your wedding coordinator handles all the fine details. Late afternoon, start preparing for your sunset wedding and as the sun sets over the Indian Ocean walk across the manicured lawn to the sound of the bridal march as you meet your other half to take your vows overlooking the Indian Ocean.


Day 10: After breakfast you will be given your wedding certificate and your photographs. Maybe arrange a visit to historic Galle Fort (optional extra) and explore this historic city. Dinner and overnight stay at Jetwing Lighthouse.


Day 11: After a hearty breakfast proceed to Colombo airport for your flight back home
