Day 1: London Heathrow – Colombo: Depart from London Heathrow. Overnight flight to Colombo airport.

Day 2: Arrival: Upon arrival at the Colombo Airport, you will be greeted by your personal airport assistance just outside the door of your aircraft. From here, be whisked through immigration and onwards to the VIP lounge where you will dine on sumptuous canapés as the airport officials handle your airport formalities on behalf of you. You will then be escorted straight to your luxury private vehicle (transfer time: approx. 2h). After a brisk drive, arrive at the stunning Heritance Ahungalla (5*), the venue for your special wedding day, staying in a double Superior room on half board basis. After settling in, join your wedding planner for a brief meeting where you will run through all the wedding arrangements and clarify any last minute questions. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Ahungalla: Full day at leisure to soak up the sun, relaxing at this delightful hotel.

Day 4: Ahungalla: After breakfast indulge yourself with a relaxing spa treatment. In the afternoon meet your wedding planner to run through the arrangements and timings of the big day, at this time also meet the wedding registrar who will run through the legal aspects along with the paperwork for the marriage. After a rested evening join your guests for a rehearsal dinner in a special area of the hotel. Afterwards retreat for an early bedtime in preparation for your big day.

Day 5: WEDDING DAY: Today is the day that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Start your day with a breakfast and indulge in some heavenly bridal treatments as your loved ones help you in preparation of this magical day. Relax and let yourself be pampered as our expert wedding planner takes care of all the arrangements today. After a blissful first half of the day, begin your transformation into a blushing bride as the sun begins to descend. Just before sunset, walk down a petal strewn white carpet as your loved one sit gathered around you, a welcome cultural performance of traditional drummers and dancers, as you head towards your handsome groom who will be awaiting for you in anticipation. As your wedding officiant takes you through the ceremony, be surrounded by the amber glow of the setting sun which adds to this exquisite evening. Afterwards, complete the legal formalities and begin the celebrations with canapés, champagne and a banquet fit for royalty complete with lobster, caviar and whatever your heart desires in the specially decorated marquee under the stars. Afterwards retreat to the glamorous honeymoon suite for your first night as Mr & Mrs.

Day 6: Ahungalla: After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon take city tour of Galle (transfer time: approx. 1h10m) visit the Galle fort which is an UNESCO world heritage site. Walk across the ramparts of this colonial stronghold and discover the cobble stone streets Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya: Check out from your hotel after breakfast and transfer to Nuwara eliya (transfer time: 6h). Check in at Heritance Tea Factory (4*+) staying in a superior room on half board basis, you can relax amidst the stunning scenery. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya: For some adventure, we can arrange an early morning trek in search of the waterfalls at the UNESCO site of Horton Plains and World’s End. Later, relax at the hotel spa or maybe take a trip where you pick and blend your own tea leaves before returning for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9: Kandy: Breakfast at the hotel and leave to Nanu Oya (transfer time: approx.50m) to take your train on a panoramic observation deck, travel from Nanu Oya through the beautiful hill country of the tea plantations to Peradeniya. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the station and be transferred to Kandy. Check-in at Earl’s Regent (4*) staying in a double Deluxe room on half board basis. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Kandy: After breakfast, visit one of the most sacred Buddhist shrines in the world – the temple, which houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha and take a City tour in Kandy. Spend rest of your evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Kandalama: After a scrumptious breakfast, you will be transferred to the historical heart of Sri Lanka- Kandalama, visiting an Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala en route (transfer time: approx. 1h10m). Proceed to Kandalama afterwards (transfer time: approx. 2h45m) and arrive at the awe inspiring hotel, the Heritance Kandalama (5*), staying in a double Superior room on half board basis. The hotel is located in the heart of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka, close to 5 stunning UNESCO world heritage sites. After lunch proceed to the sacred and ancient capital of Polonnaruwa. After an insightful visit to this ancient city arrive back at the hotel in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Sigirya: After breakfast climb the stunning rock fortress at Sigirya, an UNESCO world heritage site dating back to the 5th century. In the afternoon, take an exciting safari on an Elephant back ride. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Minneriya National Park: Breakfast at the hotel and spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon take a trip with your guide to nearby Minneriya National Park (transfer time: approx. 30m), home to wild elephants, water buffalo, mongoose and monkeys. The Park is also an important site for bird-watching and butterflies and is a great opportunity to witness wild elephants in their natural habitat. Return to the hotel upon completion for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Negombo: Breakfast at the hotel and leave afterwards to visit the amazing Dambulla Cave Temples (transfer time: approx. 45m). Upon completion, proceed to Negombo (transfer time: approx. 3h30m). Rest of the day at leisure at Heritance Negombo (5*) on half board basis. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15: Departure: Proceed to the Colombo Airport (transfer time: approx. 30m) for your flight to London Heathrow.
